To further the insult, I found a dead link (without looking very hard). I guess either of the following is no big deal taken on it's own, but together amounts to a legitimate gripe: they fail to include in the box a USB cable as well as a disc with any software or digital version of the manual!
Fortunately, this crappy product (model 1424, Roadmate I think) was a door prize so not a cent was wasted on it. I've had nothing but joy with my Garmin 1300, btw. The prices just keep dropping, so if you've been contemplating it, go online and find a deal on one!
